Can I participate in this internship programme?

You can if you are:

  • older than 18
  • able to communicate in English
  • motivated and open minded.

When can I start my placement?
We operate all year round. You can start the internship any time.


When is the deadline to apply?
There is no deadline, but you should send us your CV and motivation letter at least 1 month prior to your arrival.


Do I need to send you my flight details?
Yes, we need to have your full flight details (date, time, flight number) at least 2 weeks prior to your arrival, so we could book you an airport transfer and prepare the apartment for your arrival.


Which airport should I go to?
There is only one airport in Malta (Luqa airport).


Is it necessary to take your airport transfer and how much does it cost?
Airport transfers are obligatory for students who stay in our apartments and cost €40 per person both ways. Our driver will meet you at the airport and take you to the apartment.


Do you provide accommodation?
Yes, you can choose to stay in our shared self-catering apartments. All apartments are comfortably furnished and have an equipped kitchen with comfortable living area. Each apartment has a washing machine and an ironing board. You will be provided with sheets, blankets and towels. Electricity, water, gas and weekly maid service are also included in the accommodation price.


When do I need to settle the payment for your services?
You are expected to pay full amount (price per week for accommodation*number of weeks plus airport transfers) in full at least 2 weeks prior your arrival to Malta.


What should I do when I land?
If you are staying in our apartments, our driver will be waiting for you at the airport within the arrivals area, with the Easy Job Bridge poster. He will take you directly to your apartment. Upon sending us the flight details, we will send you the airport arrival transfer confirmation with all the necessary details.


What happens when I arrive in my apartment?
Unpack and settle in! The next day you will have a welcome meeting at our office in Valletta (please check the contacts) and after, one of our staff will accompany you to the host company and introduce your mentor, with whom you will have an informal interview and discuss your work plan.


What is the dress code?
You have to dress smart (at least for your first day at work). After that, you will discuss the dress code individually with your mentor.


How many hours will I need to work?
You will need to work 40 hours per week as a maximum.


What should I do if I am sick and cannot go to work?
You have to inform your mentor and us immediately (till 9 am) if you are not going to work.


What if something is broken in my apartment?
If something is broken, please contact us and we will send a person to fix it.


How much the local transport (buses) cost?
You are advised to apply for local bus card (Tallinja) few weeks before your arrival to Malta, so you could benefit from reduced fares. Once you obtain the card, one 2 hours trip will cost you 0.75Eur.

Can I find a part time job in Malta?
Yes, you can work part time after training hours.


Can I invite my friend to participate in this programme together with me?
Yes, you can definitely invite your friends to come with you. There is enough space for everyone in Malta. We will find them a placement in another Maltese company according to their interests.


Can I attend an English language course?
Yes, IZI ltd is also a Language school, which is regulated by the Ministry of Education and licensed by the Malta Tourism Authority. We have professional English teachers and can offer a course for a good price.
